
Jordan Housman

Head Coach: 16U NE2K Girls
Coach Jordan is from Porter, TX & he has been coaching/training players of all ages/skill levels for more than 10 years now. Coach Jordan founded the North Houston Hustle organization with a primary focus of bringing high-level basketball to the Greater North Houston area while providing an avenue for players to grow their relationships with Jesus Christ. Jordan graduated from Porter High School where he was a 3-year Varsity basketball player, Team Captain & he received the 1st Team All Academic Award (2012 & 2013). He continued his basketball career at the collegiate level for 4 years and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration-Finance from Concordia University Texas at Austin. Coach Jordan strives to make personal connections with each and every player he gets the chance to work with. His goal is to adequately provide players with the training & education they need to receive a college scholarship for athletics, academics, or both.

Kris Usher
Head Coach: 2032 Regional Boys
Coach Kris is from Splendora, TX & he graduated from Splendora High School. Coach Kris has been on our coaching staff since 2021. Kris was a 3-year Varsity basketball player & he started all 3 years. Some notable awards for Coach Kris throughout his high school career are as follows: holds the record for most assists all-time (339), won first round of playoffs (2006), won first round of playoffs, 1st Team All District Award (2007), 1st Team All District Award, 1st Team All Area Award, TABC 1st Team All Region Award (2008). Kris continued to play basketball after high school for one year at Lonestar College-Kingwood. He is an amazing role model to our young players & he teaches the game the right way in a very effective manner.

Shaq Williams
Head Coach: 2030 Regional Boys
Coach Shaq is originally from Jackson & he has been around sports all his life. Shaq played Junior College basketball at & Division I College football at University of Texas at San Antonio, where he was a nationally ranked tight end. Shaq is a great mentor of the game as he has really mastered how to play & teaches the players in a way they really understand. Shaq joined the organization in 2025 & he is excited to bring new energy & his experience to the organization.

Adam Majors
Head Coach: 2031 Regional Boys
Coach Adam is from Willis, Tx and he graduated from Willis High School where he was a 3 year letterman in basketball. After high school, Adam was blessed with opportunity to play college basketball at East Texas Baptist University. He has been coaching basketball for more than 5 years now. Proud husband and father to 4 boys. Adam is a positive role model and he loves to teach kids about Jesus and basketball and reminds them that every time we play, we play hard and we play to glorify Him.
Kenneth Sullivan
Head Coach: 2029 Regional Boys
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Kenneth "ATL" Sullivan brings a strong athletic background and years of coaching experience to the North Houston Hustle. Coach ATL was a former high school basketball and football player and he went on to play two years of college football. Currently self-employed in home improvement, Coach ATL has spent the past three years coaching AAU basketball, helping young athletes sharpen their skills and understand the game.
Evan Bethel
Head Coach: 2031 Local Boys
Evan Bethel, from Fontana, California, played basketball at Etiwanda High School and later at American Sports University. Now working as a driver recruiter, Coach Evan brings a competitive mindset to the North Houston Hustle. He is passionate about teaching youth the fundamentals of basketball while fostering a winning mentality.
Wesley Randle
Head Coach: 17U NE2K Girls
A native of Beaumont, Texas, Wesley Randle played high school basketball at Beaumont Central and was named First Team All-District. He continued his playing career at the collegiate level and now works as a barber at his own shop in Downtown Houston. With AAU coaching experience under his belt, Wesley is committed to teaching the game the right way and helping players grow both on and off the court.
Tony Rodriguez
Head Coach: 2031 Regional Girls
Tony Rodriguez hails from Splendora, Texas, and works full-time at National Oilwell Varco. With four seasons of coaching experience with the North Houston Hustle, Tony brings consistency, passion, and a focus on fundamentals. His high-energy approach makes him a valuable asset to the coaching staff and the athletes he mentors.
Cole Rogers
Head Coach: 2030 National Boys, 2033 Regional Boys
Houston native Cole Rogers is a standout young coach and current student. A decorated high school athlete, Cole was a four-year varsity player, two-time league MVP, and the 2022 AASCA MVP. Academically, he was a four-time honor roll student and National Scholar. His coaching experience includes middle school teams (2019–2021), the Trae Young Class of 2028 team, and the North Houston Hustle’s own Class of 2030 and 2033 squads. Cole is focused on building a winning culture and bringing home trophies.
Dennis Kurth
Assistant Coach: 2031 Regional Girls
Dennis Kurth, originally from Dearborn, Michigan, is an engineer in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in youth sports. He has coached with North Houston Hustle for four seasons, and also brings experience from coaching Huffman youth baseball, volleyball, and soccer. A devoted family man with a wife, Shawna, and two children, Abby and Shawn, Dennis is passionate about player development and enjoys watching young athletes grow and improve their game.
La'Shonda Newman
Head Coach: 2029/2030 Local Girls
Hailing from Louisiana, La’shonda Newman is a dedicated coach and business owner with a deep love for the game. A wife and mother of three, she has been coaching kids from 4th through 12th grade since 2016 and founded a travel basketball team in Louisiana in 2021. La’shonda brings passion, experience, and a mission to help young girls succeed both on the court and at the next level.
Shawn Toran
Assistant Coach: 2034 Local Boys
Shawn Toran, from Humble, Texas, brings playing experience from Atascocita High School, Tyler Junior College, and the semi-pro level. During his high school and college career, he earned First Team All-District honors and was selected for the ATABC All-Star team. Shawn’s high-level playing background and competitive mindset make him a valuable asset to the North Houston Hustle coaching staff.
Darrius Williams
Head Coach: 15U CIM 32 Boys
From Huntsville, Texas, Darrius Williams brings a strong athletic background and a passion for youth development to North Houston Hustle. A former All-Defensive and Offensive MVP with all-honors academic recognition, Darrius currently works in the concrete industry. His coaching experience includes serving as Athletic League Director for Huntsville Little Dribblers. He’s excited to bring energy and create new opportunities for kids in the program.
Heather Lee
Head Coach: 2030 E40 Girls
Heather Lee, a Cleveland, Texas native, is an experienced coach and Allstate insurance adjuster. She played basketball at Tarkington ISD, attended the University of Phoenix, and competed in various leagues throughout her career. With seven years of coaching experience with Tarkington Hoops Little League, Heather brings a strong foundation in youth sports and a deep commitment to helping players grow and succeed.

Jordan Quillian
Head Coach: 2034 Local Boys
Coach Jordan was 1st Team All-State and holds the single season and career all-time scoring records at Kingwood park High School. Jordan was grateful enough to play two seasons at East Texas Baptist University, where he was 1st Team All- Conference and 1st Team All Defense. Jordan believes in hard work and dedication to perfecting your craft and loves to spread his knowledge and his mindset of the game with the youth. Jordan is committed to making kids better.

Jeremiah Moffett
Head Coach: 2029 National Boys
My name is Coach Jeremiah, and I’ve been coaching with North Houston Hustle for nearly 4 years. Over the years, I’ve worked with 17U and 16U Boys and Girls, but I’ve truly found my passion with the Boys 2029 class. My mission is to shape young men into disciplined, respectful, and hardworking athletes who build good habits that lead to future success.Outside of coaching, I serve as a Correctional Officer with TDCJ, train athletes on the side, and take pride in being a husband to my amazing wife, Brittany, and a father to my incredible son, Vonni. Coaching isn’t just what I do—it’s my way of giving back to the community I love.
